Payment and Registration Instructions

1. Payment Required to Confirm Your Spot

Please make the payment for the exam you have selected.
Your spot will be confirmed only after the payment has been processed.

2. Confirmation Email Before the Exam

Once your payment has been received, you will receive an official confirmation email.
This email will include all important information regarding your test, including the schedule, instructions, and details for exam day.

3. Cancellation Policy

Once the payment has been made, the following rules apply:

  • Up to 7 days before the exam: a cancellation fee of 40 CAD per test will be deducted from the refund.
  • Less than 7 days before the exam: no refund is possible, regardless of the reason.

4. Required Documents on Exam Day

A valid passport or another official photo ID is required.

5. Important – Verify Your Personal Information

Before completing the payment, please make sure that your full name, gender, and date of birth exactly match your passport.
The candidate is responsible for the information provided. In case of any errors, administrative fees may apply, or the exam may need to be rescheduled.

6. Re-registration Rule – Mandatory 20-Day Minimum Interval

According to the official TEF rules, if you have already taken a TEF Canada, TEF Quebec (TEFAQ), or any other TEF version, you must wait a minimum of 20 days (this 20-day period is calculated in calendar days and includes weekends and public holidays) before registering again for the same test, regardless of the exam center.

  • If you attempt to re-register before this interval has passed, your registration will be automatically canceled by the responsible organization.

These rules apply to all TEF sessions administered by our Montreal center.
